Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the Lidarmeter iOS app (the "App") and the Lidarmeter Pro subscription. By downloading or using the App you accept these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If the two conflict, the Standard EULA prevails on matters concerning Apple.
1. The service
Lidarmeter is a tool that measures rooms with the iPhone's LiDAR scanner, or lets you draw them by hand, and creates floor plans, 3D models and reports. The App requires no account and keeps your data on your device (see the Privacy Policy for details).
2. Accuracy of measurements
Plans and reports produced by the App are for information only; they do not replace an official measured survey, expert appraisal or architectural project.
3. Free version
In the free version you can create two new projects each month; the allowance renews on the 1st of every month. Scanned, drawn, duplicated and imported projects count toward it; deleting or archiving a project does not give the allowance back. In the free version projects are archived rather than deleted, and rooms can be added to a project within seven days of its creation. You can view plans and 3D models and export watermarked PDFs and images. Attempting to remove or alter the watermark violates these terms.
4. Lidarmeter Pro subscription
- Lidarmeter Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. Prices are shown in the App Store in your country's currency before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
- When a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial ends when you purchase a subscription.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription on your iPhone in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. After you cancel, Pro features remain available until the end of the paid period.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
5. Your content
Your scans, plans, photos, notes and reports belong to you. You confirm that you have the right to use the logos and information you add to reports and the plans you add as an underlay. When scanning, photographing or recording places that belong to others (especially recordings with sound, involving the people whose conversations are recorded), it is your responsibility to obtain their permission and respect their privacy.
6. Intellectual property
The App, the Lidarmeter name and logo, its design and software belong to Lidarmeter. Copying, modifying, reverse engineering or reselling the App is prohibited, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
7. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App, from measurement differences or from data loss. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. When there is an important change, we update the date on this page; continuing to use the App means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers keep the rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where they live.
